Our application policy has changed effective January 1, 2024. Midsouth Hope Garage will only accept applications from our listed referral partners - see list below.
We solely work through local organizations and nonprofits to recieve referrals to gift our vehicles. All recipients must fulfill certain requirements in order to be gifted a vehicle. We have found that this process finds success because they are working through programs and therapy to heal trauma, mature their faith, and find ways to work through hard life circumstances.
If you are actively involved in one of the groups listed, your program manager or coordinator can choose to submit an application on your behalf. Any applications that are submitted directly to MHG and not through a referral organization will be discarded.
We are hopeful that this policy change will alleviate our extensive waitlist in shortening our applicant's wait time.
